Fantastic card magic by Ricky Jay, from his ‘Ricky Jay and his 52 Assistants’ show.

 This is just silly.  So impossible you can’t believe it.

What I want to know is, where does the little helicopter go? Thankfully, Franz made that mustache disappear later in his career.

I first saw this on Stuff the Whit Rabbit, a TV magic show in the UK starring John Lenehan. David Williamson was a highlight on the show. This is a great routine.

Slydini At Work


Tony Slydini is on of those magicias about whom you here great things, but it is difficult to know exactly how good he was. Some of his moves seem a bit telegraphed to me, because they are sudden and quick – you can’t see what happened but you know something did. Anyway, check it out:

 A true master at work. Dai Vernon is probably known for his card magic more than anything, but here he performs the classic cups and balls, as well as anyone ever has.
