A clip from ‘The Secret Cabaret’ and a great example of the macabre illusions performed by Simon Drake on this old show.
Ricky Jay also had a regular spot on this show.

Check out his Chopper

The Ring and Rope
I first saw this on Stuff the Whit Rabbit, a TV magic show in the UK starring John Lenehan.

Slydini At Work
Tony Slydini is on of those magicias about whom you here great things, but it is difficult to know exactly how good he was.
Some of his moves seem a bit telegraphed to me, because they are sudden and quick – you can’t see what happened but you know something did.
Anyway, check it out:

Dai Vernon’s Cups and Balls
A true master at work.
Dai Vernon is probably known for his card magic more than anything, but here he performs the classic cups and balls, as well as anyone ever has.
